This simple design for a multifunctional table is by Berlin-based designer Michael Hilgers.
It's two pieces of powder-coated steel and serves as a side table; or, flipped over, it becomes a magazine rack.
The halves can also be separated and wall-mounted through the same holes used to join them. It then serves as dual floating nightstands.
The table is going into production by Purstahl, an Austrian manufacturer of steel furniture. At press time it wasn't yet on their website.
